The
Public Sector Management Program (PSM Program) is a tertiary level
management education program aimed at front line managers from middle to
senior levels in Commonwealth, State, Territory and Local Government
public sectors across Australia.
The PSM
Program is a joint venture between the Commonwealth, States and
Territories of Australia. It has been running in Tasmania since 1992 with
an exceptionally high per capita take-up rate.
The
Program incorporates the latest developments in public sector management
and theory and has been developed to offer participant centred, flexible
and varied learning opportunities to a diverse student population.
PSM Program participants currently
graduate with a:
Graduate
Certificate in Public Sector Management
Flinders University, South Australia
The
Program is administered on behalf of the Tasmanian Local Leadership Group
by The Training
Consortium, Public Sector Management Office, Department of
Premier and Cabinet.
